This Christmas, give the gift of education.
The COVID-19 pandemic has had a devastating affect in the rural areas of India. With widespread loss of jobs and increasing numbers of family members returning home to their villages, many rural families will face the difficult choice between putting food on the table, or sending their children back to school.
At the moment, there are 400 families at the Sri Narayani Vidyalaya School who are indicating they won’t be able to pay their school fees due to job loss or significantly lower income with COVID-19. We need your help to keep these children in school.
Education changes lives for those living in poverty.
Give the gift of education this Christmas.
Our ongoing commitment
Over the past 5 years, Help-A-School Foundation has developed an ongoing relationship with the Sri Narayani Vidyalaya School in Thirumalaikodi Tamil Nadu. Through our Schools Connect Program, students and school communities in Australia have provided donations of books, stationery and school equipment, and shared penpal letters and art works across the globe. It has truly been a practice of connecting cultures, and giving with Gratitude.
Let's help them to stay in school.. and inspire to achieve all they can!
